It was good to see the old megaliths but when I found out that they had been re constructed in the 1920's using cranes it kind of took the magic out of them a little. But saying that the stones are just immense, there's no...More

Prefer this to the overpriced entry ticket. You walk from the visitor centre instead of going on the shuttle bus. The public path is right next to the paid path

Stonehenge is mesmerising an amazing piece of Bronze Age masonry . The visitor centre was packed and coffee shop does not have alternate milk products.

I have always been fascinated by Stonehenge and its history. To finally get to see it up close and personal was wonderful. The great stones evoke such power and mystery

A very good place to experience quite long wait outside for the bus to take inside. The view is just mind blowing.

Well it is a wonder, isn't it? The place is magnificent, of course, but the experience of walking the ancient Processional Way from Woodhenge to Stonehenge is, I think, the only way it should ever be approached. That profoundly wonderful.
