We visited for a morning with Jacqueline Wilson. This was our first visit. It was a really nice venue. All great seats with a good view. Also clear. Cafe available and great pre theatre activities for the kids.

The main thing that draws me here is the panto - year after year, it kicks off Christmas with lots of laughs and silliness (please don't ever stop booking Jez!). The box office and theatre staff are always helpful and friendly, and the toilets are...More

Attended the Boxing Day performance and I have to say this was a genuinely funny family show. Lots of laughs for both the younger audience and also all the adults. Interaction with the cast and audience throughout in typical panto fashion but it felt very...More

First visit to the Carriageworks and went on recommendation. Lovely little theatre, can see from all seats as quite cosy. Bar and ice cream prices reasonable compared to bigger theatres. The panto was great for both adults and kids. Only downside, which isn’t really their...More

Went to see the Japanese Taiko drummers. Awesome and exhilarating show. Great view of the stage, great acoustics, seats fairly comfortable, but could do with a bit more let room (tough on the knees).

The theatre is very centrally located in Millennium Square. The receptionist quickly located out tickets and we were seated on the third floor. It wasn't full so we could move to seats which were a bit cooler. It wasn't warm outside but it was inside....More

Went to see A Midsummernights Dream. Enjoyed it very much, knowing how difficult it had been for the production of it. Never understood Shakespeare but I did with this, had a laugh with it too. Been to The Carriagworks before & would happily go again....More

We went to the opening night of Bugsy Malone, and really enjoyed it. Some amazingly talented young performers. Well done. We like this theatre, it's very friendly and informal, though wish they'd allocate seats in advance.

We went as a group of 9 ladies, it was brilliant from start to finish. Very funny and wonderful acting. Highly recommended, even better as the carriageworks is small so you feel part of it.
