I learned so much about David Hockney that I hadn't known before, and though the collection showed only a fraction of his massive output, it gave a nice little summary of his overall work. At least one Swimming Pool painting, some lithographs, and other colourful...More

Very nice collection. Free admission, with boxes for donations. I was very drawn to a painting "The Marriage" featuring a forlorn woman watching the celebration as her heart is breaking.

Lovely building with fountains and waterfalls, the gallery gave insights into the life and works of David Hockney and many other artists.

The City Council has a gem of a gallery here. The new David Hockney gallery gives insights into the boyhood of the City's favourite son and is beautifully curated and staffed by most helpful volunteers. We also loved the Print Room with an interactive screen...More

Nice enough to pass an hour or so. Houses some lovely works of art. Must say I used to like this place more years ago. Had more of a museum about it then. With a bee hive you could see inside.
