I was recommended this pub by my ( with respect ) much younger fellow students at Coventry Uni. As a Building alone it is an amazing piece of 500 odd year old history the stained glass windows and old oak beams say it all. friendly...More

Have been visiting this pub for years. My partner and I have just popped in for a drink the bar man was chatting when we walked in ignoring us. My partner asked for two drinks the barman said "please" then continues to say say please....More

A lovely old building with some of the best ales available in Coventry. The food is perfect and very tasty, it is amazing the quality of food that comes from the tiny kitchen.

Amazing old pub presumably with original timbered interior and a series of small rooms around a triangular bar. Several cask ales on offer from micro-breweries, plus hand-pulled cider. Comprehensive range of nibbles including caramel-coated nuts (never seen them before) and, for the true afficionado, Marmite...More
