Whilst i was visiting Coventry with my son, i couldn't resist a return trip to the old Bombed cathedral that still survives. Stunning building that still renders you speechless.

Must visit if you are near Coventry. The historical centre and the remains of the Cathedral really capture the history of thr city and the impact of war on civilians

An interesting look at the Cathedral that was bombed in the war. 30 minutes is enough tim if you don't climb the tower.

The cathedral was destroyed by the Nazi Blitz of WW II. The day after the destruction, clergy here decided to rebuild. The cathedral is dedicated to reconciliation, and the interior has modern architecture that reminds one of planes, such as those that destroyed Coventry. What...More

Such a peace wandering around the old cathedral and grounds. Made perfect today by the according player, the squirrels and the heavy snow shower. Beautiful.

Thank you for your lovely review of our old cathedral ruins and pleased that our message of peace and reconciliation is so impactful. What the squirrels were doing out in the snow instead of hibernating is a mystery. The accordion player does add some atmosphere.
