Overview
More
Charlecote Mill is the last working water mill in Warwickshire and still operates commercially producing stoneground flours. The mill opens to the public on the second Sunday of the month and bank holidays throughout the summer from 11.00Am to 5.00Pm. Occasionally the open days are joined by local bakers and teas and home made cakes are always on offer. This is a very rare example of a fully working mill and well worth the visit.

We went to Charlecote Mill on an open day and really enjoyed our visit to this stunning location. We had a guided to from the owners dad and some lovely cake afterwards made from the flour produced at the mill.

A real historical working watermill. Had a great visit with an excellent guided tour by a very knowledgeable guide. The machinery was all in action making flour so you could really experience the noise and vibration of a well-crafted machine in motion.

What a brilliant place. We had an amazing tour guide (John) who was extremely knowledgeable. He shared information about how the mill works, its history and I loved finding out the reasons behind a few sayings that are still in use today. It was so...More

This place is a lovely, old, fully working water mill that runs as a milling business - not just an attraction. It's only open to the public on certain days so be sure to check before you travel. They offer really interesting tours that show...More
