Good prices. Quick service. Good food at decent prices. Nice atmosphere. Compared to the Almanack the furniture was decent too.

I've never eaten here, but I've been a few times with my father-in-law whilst the football has been on... £2.50 a pint whilst the football is on! You can't get a pint that cheap anywhere I know of! The service is fine, they're always happy...More

A proper old school boozer. Where everybody knows your name. Roaring fires and a Great selection of local ales. Not tried the new menu yet.

Met with friends here for drinks and hot food. Good choices, good prices, good service, good quality and quantity for the price. ONLY criticism is that it's a sports-pub with nonstop coverage on large-screen televisions. BUT would imagine that's great IF you're a sports fan.
