The Tyne Bridge is a huge bridge crossing the river Tyne and linking Newcastle with Gateshead. It is a major landmark of Newcastle and the North East as a whole. Fun fact: it was inspired by Sydney's Harbour Bridge

It’s a Bridge. An iconic bridge. Symbol to thousands of Geordies both local and around the world. It’s functional; it conveys pedestrians and road traffic. It also serves as a photographers dream, providing an excellent backdrop for river shots, or views from the bridge.
