This was the second time we have been to the cathedral for a light show and this one was excellent. It was thought provoking as well as informative and did proud service to those whose lives were lost in the first world war.

My self and my husband booked tickets costing just £4 to go to the poppy fields . I must say we arrived early and the cues where massive. One of the wardens told us we would be better having a walk round and coming back...More

A very moving experience! Even with all the other people around you could feel quite alone . All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Magnificent building.Enjoyed looking round although it was a little spoiled as when we went to visit, there was extensive work going on inside.Scaffolding had been erected and workmen were banging and drilling. Lichfield is a nice quaint town to visit and very clean Worth a visit

As the cathedral is the only medieval cathedral in England with three spires it really stands out in the city . Well worth a visit if you are historically minded as jt contains lots of interesting features originally dating back to the 12th century although...More

Yes it is misaligned. When part of the cathedral was altered in the 1170s, the north wall of the choir was not built in line with the nave. The thinking is that the rebuilding was started before a nearby chapel was... More
