Absolutely fabulous service from the venue staff over recent concert postponements. Communication by e-mail and phone. Cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you and we will see you when this nightmare is over.

Been going here on and off for as long as I can remember, still an amazing live music venue. Great beers, great acoustics, even the door staff are nicer these days!

Was a bit reluctant about booking tickets for the Total Stone Roses, as my wife can’t stand up for long, but Alex in ticketing kindly arranged for seating on our arrival. Brilliant venue to watch live music and the show was excellent. The door/security staff are very courteous, and make it feel a safe place to be. Good choice of drinks (no bitter/ale on tap, but a good choice of bottled/canned craft beers), served by the ever smiling and friendly bar staff. Overall, a great night out, big thumbs up!

Probably the most overrated venue in Sheffield. I'm not sure why it enjoys the reputation it does. It's wide but not very deep in front of the stage meaning that on busy nights it's quickly rammed right the way to the back of the room meaning it's really difficult to move around the venue to the bars or the toilets. When you do get there, the toilets are disgusting. In front of the stage, if you happen to stand (or get stuck) under the air conditioning it's VERY cold. Talking of very cold, it can be freezing queuing up outside to squeeze slowly through the venue's turnstiles - which is a regular occurrence. It's not a comfortable place to be. Because people find it so hard to get back to the bar they just drop their glasses and cans on the floor, meaning you have to stumble and kick your way through it on the way out. It doesn't feel very welcoming. I used to go and see artists I liked there because of who they were. Now I wait for them to play somewhere else.

The act was amazing but the facilities weren't. Toilets absolutely stank to stay we were first in, around £10 a round for a cider and a southern comfort and lemonade when they advertise £1.50 singles on there Facebook when it isnt a gig. I'd return again for something I really wanted to see however would prefer somewhere else.
