Our bookshop, located opposite Christ Church gardens, is housed in a listed medieval building with a fine Jacobean plasterwork ceiling and fireplace.

The experience of going in here and exploring old books of literature and theology was one I won't forget, and something rare and special found here. I spent hours and almost 100£ (and in that sense be careful!).

Anyone with an interest in theology should visit St Philip's whenever they are in Oxford. The premises are crammed with books, and there is also an extensive catalogue. I have never been disappointed. Moreover, the members of staff are courteous and helpful ... and they...More

The shop has mostly books related to religion and religious history. If that's your thing, great. As for me, I wanted to see literature--and the selection there was rather small. The number of fine and rare books was also very limited.
