I was waiting to meet up with friends so decided to pop into the Castle. Cider is my drink of choice and the mango cider was really different. Drinking outside, soaking up the sounds and atmosphere from the beer festival all added to the experience.

Heard there was a young and upcoming chef hired so I thought we'd try it out. Ordered the ENGLISH beef burger, getting used to post brexit, and it was spiffing, give that chef a promotion imminently.

The most vivid memory I have here is how awful the toilets smelt and how there was no bannister down the steep steps (a nightmare in heels). We ate here and enjoyed he food but it I wouldn't be going back any time soon.
