Coloured Cob Equestrian Centre provides quality horse riding tuition as well as fantastic off road hacking and trekking. We cater for all abilities, beginner to advanced. We have a large range of horses and ponies to suit your needs. We cater for lots of birthday pony parties, hen parties and much more. We have an extensive range of lessons and cater for disabled riders too. Those wanting to do something a little different can take advantage of our carriage driving experiences or enjoy our twinned spa and trek packages. We are ABRS (association of British riding schools) accredited and have first aiders, DBS checked staff and staff with safeguarding certificates on site at all times. Set in 35 acres, our historic house and stables date back to 1610 and we are situated next to the archaelogical beauty spot of Creswell Crags which boasts the oldest limestone gorge in the country dating back to the Ice Age. Come and ride along the bridleways adjacent to the farm and you won't be disappointed!

Me and my son went on an hour trek and loved it. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Really easy to get along with as they lead the horses through some lovely countryside.

For two very inexperienced riders we were in safe reassuring hands for a one hour hack through Creswell gorge. Beautiful scenery and with over 50 horses Coloured Cob are clearly doing something right! Thank you ladies for a great afternoon.
