Very much a focal point for the city and always lots going on in and around. Good mix of shops, cafes, restaurants etc and major stopping point for the tram. We went late evening and great to see the area all lit up.
Go to Nottingham regularly when I'm in the country. Always a great place to wander around. Lots of alleyways and hidden areas to find and explore.

No market and not muchsign of an old square. The whole place has been subsumed by building works and the feel is of modernity with no sense of the history we expected. Worst part of our day in Nottingham

lots of changes over the years, lots to do for everyone and fantastic for kids, man made beach in middle of city centre, its an amazing transformation from bygone days,would certainly reccomend this to anyone,
