Very much a focal point for the city and always lots going on in and around. Good mix of shops, cafes, restaurants etc and major stopping point for the tram. We went late evening and great to see the area all lit up.

Go to Nottingham regularly when I'm in the country. Always a great place to wander around. Lots of alleyways and hidden areas to find and explore. In the middle of this is what I have always known it has, Slab Square. I can remember the...More

Right in the city centre. Fountains, Lion statues and memoires of my childhood. Relax here after a busy day shopping. Lovely during summer

No market and not muchsign of an old square. The whole place has been subsumed by building works and the feel is of modernity with no sense of the history we expected. Worst part of our day in Nottingham

The Old Market Square tries to offer all sorts of things from Christmas markets to far rides. I prefer it when there is nothing 'special' happening. When is your favourite time?

Old Market Square didn't fail to deliver. We arrived when the Beach was set up. Though the prices of food and rides was a joke! The scene was however beautiful, so much to see and do.
