Delapre has been well restored and the tour is great... A lot of interesting history is explained. Get there in the morning for a tour. Then you can wander the house at your leisure later. The cafe has wonderful food. And the gardens are nice.....More

Closed for 900 years this refurbished venue has easy free parking. Met at entrance by guides and showed way to reception. Note went in the morning. If you dont take the free tour you have to wait until 1pm before you can tour the house...More

We took the opportunity of the warm weather to come for a good walk followed by cake and cuppa. We love coming here and our dog just loves it too. The red velvet cake and cuppa made it all worthwhile. We shall come again
