Not the usual country house experience; much more of a human scale and homely feeling. Both the interior and grounds were well worth visiting. Do not miss the unique three seater toilet or the rockery. Friendly, helpful staff and a warm welcome. Will return.
Nowhere near Daventry, which is what Tripadvisor might lead you to believe. Much closer to Northampton, Kettering or Market Harborough. Also, I would suggest that you key NN6 9EZ into your satnav, not the postcode that Tripadvisor provide.
