We visited this lovely property last week. We were warmly greeted by David who gave us maps and information on what to do and where to go. He placed us on the house tour. This was guided by Carol who was interesting and very informative....More

This was a lovely house and garden and we were welcomed and shown around. Don't miss the church. We had an excellent guide - no free flow visiting and there is also a small cafe within the house.

Not the usual country house experience; much more of a human scale and homely feeling. Both the interior and grounds were well worth visiting. Do not miss the unique three seater toilet or the rockery. Friendly, helpful staff and a warm welcome. Will return.

The house and grounds are run by a trust so there is not the personal touch which houses in which people live have. Having said that it is interesting but only for those who like history. The house suffered from various problems and the upper...More
