Average train station. Very few gates to get out so a bit of a crush when it comes to get through the gates. Good and close to football ground though.

Traveling from here ok trains ok sometimes 1 coach on stop train and 3 coach fast one staff are ok always keep you updated

We had a view of this excellent example of Victoriana (I assume?) every time we looked out of our hotel window ,and very impressive it is , as well!

10 min walk from city centre across the river, classic old building, good signage and info booth, ticket counters and machines, usual coffee and snack outlets, free toilet, limited ticket barriers queue when busy, platforms have reasonable cover.
