An impressive statue of Hair. History has not been kind to the butcher of the Somme. However this is a nice statue.

IMHO General Haig was a butcher and not a hero, so it is upsetting to see this memorial in a prominent location in Whitehall. Of course he's on a horse looking noble. Oh, well, he is a historic figure.

In a beautiful area on the way to Trafalgar Square. It's a bronze statue commemorating one of the many World War 1 heroes. I believe this is right near the military headquarters.

Earl Haig Memorial is on the street. On the same street is located The Women of World War II so it is interesting to walk there.

This memorial located in Whitehall is a bronze equestrian statue of the British Western Front Commander, Field Marshall Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig. This is one of several statues in the area.
