I so much enjoyed visiting Portcullis House for a meeting here and was very impressed indeed with the building itself which is wonderfully light and airy. One can walk through the corridors appreciating art work relating to famous politicians and political events of the past....More

Visited here when I was on part of an organised trip to Westminster & Elizabeth Tower. Security (as you would expect) is tight as you go in. We had about 45mins prior to meeting guide so was able to walk around this bright airy building....More

Great place for a meeting. Bright and airy inside. The security staff were efficient and friendly without being obtrusive. There can be queues at busy times so be prepared to wait if necessary.

Good facilities in general. If you go to a session you may find it hard to find drinking water. Hydrate before entry.

It is a working building, but still manages a wow factor. Inside has great natural light and is nice for lunch. The meeting rooms are functional but still have a parliamentary feel to them.

I was lucky to be invited for lunch on the terrace. Food was very good indeed. Good choice of starters and main course very good. Great view of London which made this more special.

We entered Portcullis House on a visit to the Queen Elizabeth House. The inside is bright and airy with lots of plants and seating areas. Lots of hustle & bustle and good for Mp spotting. Nipped upstairs to use the loos and was impressed by...More

Among the newest (if not the newest) of Parliament's office buildings is quite a departure from some of the very plain annexes and from the neo-gothic, iconic Palace of Westminster. Portcullis's design (particularly the interior) and materials are thoroughly interesting and modern. A helpful pamphlet...More

This large building, directly above the entrance to Westminster Underground Station, was commissioned in 1992 and was opened by The Queen in 2001. It cost £235million (well over budget) and is an impressive modern structure which was needed to supplement the limited accommodation in the...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
