What a splendid place to take tea. With properly trained waiting staff, great location, fantastic historic building. The food was very well presented, perfectly seasoned and all delicious.

While the décor and general atmosphere are lovely, the service at this bar was inept. At £14 a cocktail, one would not expect to wait twenty minutes and have to ask repeatedly about the order. There were many staff running around, but little sense of...More

We visited here as a group of 6, we had pre-drink cocktails in the exquisite bar, our 6th member arrived late and ordered a cocktail that never came. Shortly we were ushered though to the restaurant in the large hall, there was less intricacy to...More

We researched this online where it appears to be called George's Bar. On arriving at the hotel nobody had heard of that but they directed us to the Gilbert Scott bar which, apparently, is what it is now called. Apart from that, everything was perfect....More

We had not visited St Pancras station since it was modernised. We wanted a drink so popped into the Gilbert Scott for a glass of wine and a non alcoholic cocktail. The atmosphere was good, nice and relaxing we were not rushed. Friendly, efficient service.

We had a bit of time to kill recently so decided to enjoy the Gilbert Scott bar rather than the platform cafes-good decision! Staff were superb and whilst cocktails are not cheap they are made with skill and affection, as well as the delicious small...More

After a full day of sightseeing, this was a lovely place to slow down, enjoy the ambiance, and have a civilized drink. The staff are top-notch, and this haven is inside a hotel that looks like it came straight out of Harry Potter. Cheers!

We’ve been to the Gilbert Scott before for cocktails, which is what it’s best for. A cosy atmosphere with a great cocktail menu. We decided to try the afternoon tea and were very disappointed. For £40 ahead we expected something a little luxurious, but it...More

Whether you fancy a classical cocktail or something with a twist (with or without alcohol), you can go the the Gilbert Scott bar. Staff is nice and helpful and the bar bites are very tasty (cashew nuts with truffle!!).
