First off, let's get this out of the way. I can't believe the reviews on here that are negative about the staff, the rules, officious blah blah. I travel around the UK using climbing walls as my job, and I can categorically say that this...More

This is the quietest climbing centre in London. People used to visiting The Castle may be pleasantly surprised to come here at 6pm on a Monday evening and find it almost empty...which is no bad thing. There are about 12 auto belays, a lot of...More

Yes, a very good place to climb, with a lot of routes (not only bouldering) and it's possible to do climb on lead in a lot of routes. Just a little cold in winter... but definitively less expensive than other places...

Unwelcoming, truculent staff, lots of incomprehensible rules and an unpleasant, officious vibe. The non-climbers among us weren’t allowed to walk to the cafe through a few meters of the climbing space because we ‘hadn’t completed the introductory bouldering course’. Definitely one to avoid for families...More

I have booked previously with this centre and completed their beginners or introduction course. I did love it and after a few years I wanted to book a refresher course and go back to climbing. I did book a reduced rate course. Unfortunately my mum...More

Myself and my son have been climbing together since the centre opened almost 8 years ago. I have put my son through a ten lesson Nicas course and we travel for over an hour to get to the centre. Our recent visit we were informed...More

I had only been climbing a couple of times before so wanted somewhere to learn without having all the gear etc. This place is perfect to learn- they have very good bouldering routes with floor mats in case you fall with varying degrees of difficulty....More

I love the reach, the routes are varied and interesting. The atmosphere is always relaxed and comfortable and there aren't too many children's parties on at weekends which lets some other walls down.
