The Italian Gardens is definitely worth visiting in Hyde Park. The scale of the garden is majestic. It looks so great! :-)

Never spotted this place before, but was very impressed with how majestic it was, and was even more pleased when I discovered our table would look over it for our evening meal at Nipa Thai

Despite visiting Hyde Park many times over the years we'd never stumbled across this corner but it's worth a look.

This is my view at work. Lovely during winter, fabulous in warmer months. It does get busy. On sunday morning you see a lot of people exercising. Just by sitting there with eyes closed and listening to the water is therapeutic. There is a toilet...More

The Italian Water Gardens are a nicer part of Hyde Park close to Kensington Palace. It is very restful, and right next to the Lancaster Gate subway station.

Beautiful ponds and fountains with Italian buildings. Lovely view down the long water towards the Serpentine and a nice place to sit and quietly people watch or stroll round. Ice cream van there on the day we visited.

A little gem in the park with ornamental fountains and ponds created as part of the love between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. A stylish bit of history and a nice place to stroll or sit and relax. There are information boards situated at points...More

This time the Italian Water Gardens were completely covered by thick snow but the fountains were still working! It was an amazing to see! The garden looked really pretty in her new white dress, which I have never seen before.

Romance is in the air of the beautiful Italian Gardens. The gardens start with a romance, that of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria, to whom he is said to have given them as a gift, inspired by the gardens at Osborne House on the Isle...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
