I went here for the first time yesterday. A group of five us went to see Homos, or everyone else in America. There had been a power cut so.we could not use the bar, as there had been a flood. But we waited outside because...More

Saw the show in this intimate (50 seats) theatre above the pub. That makes life easy for drink before and after. Thoughtfully there are plastic glasses to take in your interval drink. The experience embellished by the wonderful musical. I learned much that I did...More

Some of the best theatre in London isn't in the West End at lavish West End prices, but on the fringe circuit. Theatres such as Jermyn Street, the White Bear in Kennington, the Questors in Ealing and this venue above a pub in Earl's Court,...More

For new plays and serious writing, we always head to the Finborough Theatre. Recently we saw "Everything between us," a very good production. Highly recommended for supporting a new generation of playwrights, acting, and performance. Good restaurants nearby; easily accessible by bus and tube.

Some really unusual plays performed here. The actual theatre is up some stairs that could be forbidding for the less sure footed. The pub downstairs can be noisy and expensive, but for the purely theatrical experience its worth a high rating.

We saw 'Adding Machine: A Musical' here: excellent production and very well performed. It deserves to transfer to a larger theatre. We then had drinks in the pub and ordered pizzas at the bar from Firezza, a takeaway next door. The pub was very relaxed...More

What kind of theatre would be above a pub? You might imagine something on the fringe. In London, the Finborough Theatre fits that bill. And what an excellent theatre it is! The intimate setting lends to the enjoyment of the theatre. It may seat 50...More

Great theatre seating around 50 people on tiered bench seats. You go upstairs to get to the theatre, there is a central aisle with seats to the right and left. The stage space is small but I saw the matinee of Princess Caraboo (finishes 22...More

We learned of the production, Weald, through Time Out. I bought tickets online before leaving home. The theatre is warm and welcoming. The production was very good. I'd always check out the season when planning a trip to London. Near the Earl's Court tube station.
