But I wanted an Irish pub !! Where is the Irish coffee amd the good uk food ? Thai food in an Irish pub is anathema! This place should be heaving like the bull amd bush . It’s very cosy but the food is Thai .. which doesn’t fit the vibe . I wanted mulled wine hot toddy or Irish coffee on a cold night with a pud . But beautiful pub but won’t visit for the food

This is everything a pub should be: friendly, relaxing, characterful and with good beer and food. The decor is lovely with big windows, odd shoe lasts and musical instruments hanging about the place, and witty sayings chalked up around the bar. I dropped in for lunch and enjoyed a noodle dish from the menu of Thai food. A great place for lunch or I guess any time of day. A refreshingly cosy pub in bustling Camden

We needed a dog friendly pub and found it here. As well as a relaxed, atmospheric place with friendly staff, nice beer, Thai food, and customers who chatted to each other. Later, we enjoyed musicians who seemed to be having a good time entertaining themselves, enjoying making music together and appreciative of audience feedback. It has a welcome old-style feel that is rarely now encountered in London. The German visitors that we sat beside certainly appreciated it.

Great pub to relax, lovely atmosphere, staff very friendly, loved Churchill the cat 😸 We were about to leave but the pub quiz was on this night, so we decided to stay, Kevin was a great host, really enjoyed it, finished 2nd, Definately will visit again when we are over from Dublin 😁 Dave and Donna

Love the Old Eagle. Just did a show there and had a brilliant night. Lovely, lively and friendly crowd. The staff are great and you won't believe how good the Thai food is. Can't wait to go back.

My girlfriend and i took a walk here on a sat eve to get away from the crowds after a busy day shopping in camden market. Felt relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived, friendly bar staff and lovely locals, great beer and thai food to die for. A hidden gem away from the bustle of the high st.

Had a fantastic night out. Such a great atmosphere and if you’re lucky to be in when there’s live music it’s Camden best pub by far. One day I will get the cat to like me!

Hands down the worst thai food I've ever paid for. The gyoza was like tinned ravioli boiled for a good ten minutes. Each of the 3 mains were more than disappointing. Nothing like thai should be. Go somewhere else, there are loads of options nearby in kentish town.
