I think the Electric may be ok as a club but as a gig venue it's dire, oversold and ridiculously crammed, massively overpriced and understaffed bars, shoddy staff attitudes, acoustics crap too, one to avoid

Went to Electric Brixton for the first time on Friday night with a group of friends. I am a white guy over 60. I felt comfortable, it is well run and that makes it great for enjoying the music. Look forward to going again.

This is a good venue for a night out but it is very expensive. I probably won't go back because the music isn't my type but the place was packed out. A great atmosphere!
