Neighbourhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Cant belief when I went in to see there reviews that other people had the same experience as me in weybridge branch. Being look down at when your shopping in store [ black hair lady who might be the manager] and when there was a 30 %discount she didnt take off bill ,but when you point it out to her ,she just look at you like you are a trouble some customer ,no apologies . I feel better now knowing other people had the same experience as me Awhaha lol

DO NOT BUY FROM LAURA ASHLEY!!!!! I placed an order in late February just before the administrators were called in. I still have over £2,000 worth of orders outstanding and its now 3rd June. I have been told that they no longer have these items available and I need to contact the administrators to apply for a refund. We all know what that means... No refund!
What I find really appalling is that they are still taking orders online so still robbing people of their money (at a time when people are really struggling). there is no customer service line to call but funnily enough there is still an order line so that they can rob more people of money when they call up to place an order that will never be honoured. After no reply from email I contacted Laura Ashley through the order line. The girl on the line was unsympathetic, rude and had no idea what the process was to enable me to make a claim. The least they could do is offer whatever stock they have left over to customers who have already lost thousands from orders not honoured. But no, they would rather rob a few more people before they finally stop trading. Just shocking! I can see I'm not the only one to have lost thousands.

If you are shopping around and are tempted by Laura Ashley sofas then go somewhere else. We had a Kingston Sofa with soft cushions option delivered in March 2014. It is one of the most uncomfortable bits of furniture I have ever sat on. I have rang to complain but they don't want to know, they told me the cushions need plumping up every day - no way, there is nothing in them to plump up! It is so hard my husband sat on the floor the other night as it was giving him a back ache.
Customer services do not want to know do not buy at LA just read the reviews and believe them.

I have always perceived Laura Ashley as an brand that represented good quality & excellent customer service. I have been proved wrong on both counts.
We recently bought our first home and refurbished the kitchen. Our finishing touch was Laura Ashley wicker floor tiles purchased via Tons of Tiles.
Dispite over ordering by a square metre to be on the safe side, we found almost third of the tiles either with hairline cracks or blotches that spoilt the print. Tons of Tiles were fantastic in trying to send us replacements quickly even though the issues with the tiles were due to poor manufacture quality. When replacements arrived, we again found most of them to be faulty.
We only had the tiler for a limited time so had to use 3 faulty tiles on our floor and It has really spoilt the kitchen for us. So much so that I decided to complain to the brand.
I wrote to Laura Ashley - explaining what had taken place, informing them about the faulty tiles and sending them photographs of our kitchen and the faulty tiles that we received and subsequently have had to lay. I would never normally take the time to write and complain but the whole situation caused unnecessary stress and dissapointment and I didn't want other people to have the same experience.
The response I received was three sentences long. Laura Ashley took no responsibility for the poor quality of the tiles, blamed the manufacturer and told us to contact the manufacturer directly ourselves. The tiles were clearly Laura Ashley branded. Therefore why should I, as the end user have to deal with the manufacturer directly? Surely Laura Ashley should take responsibility for any product that holds their brand name and represents their values. Frankly, I am horrified at the Laura Ashley's total disregard for the quality of products that they allow to use their brand name and their disregard for customers that buy into the brand and have a bad experience.
Be warned. They don't care about the quality of the products they put their name to and they don't care about the customers that buy into their brand.

Quality & Service, the two things that the 'old' LA stood for. The service in the Taunton shop is woeful! The shop staff appear to be (rich!) farmers wives with nothing better to do and treat customers in an aloof and arrogant manner - to the extent that my wife refuses to go into the shop. This is hugely different from the friendly & helpful service that we used to get in the Truro branch.

My wife & I have shopped at Laura Ashley for many years, indeed every room in our home is adorned with Laura Ashley fabrics, curtains, wallpaper, lampshades, etc., therefore we had no hesitation in ordering their furniture - the Hudson range for our lounge and the Ashton for our conservatory (received May 2017)
Shortly after delivery, we noticed a staining effect on the cushion covers which we reported to Customer Services who frankly, we less than helpful. Indeed it took photographic evidence for them to take our complaint seriously and after a long drawn out battle in which they repeatedly stated that only laboratory testing could determine why the fabric was dis-colouring, they then accused us of causing the problem “by liquid contamination”.
To say we were furious is an understatement. An accidental spillage on one cushion could have been a reasonable assumption but to suggest that we spilt liquid on 7 seat covers, spread over 4 pieces of furniture, sited in 2 separate rooms was preposterous!!
Their Customer Services advised us of the option to take the matter to The Furniture Ombudsman. It took The Ombudsman another 3 months to get Laura Ashley to agree to replace the cushion covers which was welcome but did not address our main concern - i.e. the furniture was not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose.
Then to top it all, in December 2017, 2 legs on the footstool bent and could not be tighten and one leg on a sofa broke away causing the back to collapse and considerable distress to the person sitting on it at the time!!
We have now referred this matter to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice and asked Laura Ashley for a full refund - we can but hope

After deciding to purchase around £4,000.00 worth of dining room furniture across multiple orders we found a fault with the Brambly Dresser that was delivered when we opened it up.
As we were in the middle of a renovation we were told by the delivery driver who wrote on the delivery slip that we would be ok to check at a later period and keep the items within their boxes and stored them in the house and this was noted on the delivery slip. I signed a delivery note to confirm we had received the delivery or that was what I was told.
After opening the bramley dresser several days after delivery we noticed that the doors rubbed against eachother as they closed where the other unit we purchased as part of the order didn’t.
As well as the doors rubbing against eachother we also found a crack at the back of the door.
Leaving my wife to resolve this as it seemed like a simple task of reporting the issue and requesting a new bottom unit for the dresser we were told by customer services that we only had 3 days to report any issues from the date of delivery. Even though we reported it within 28 days and also the item was clearly faulty we were told we couldn't have a replacement unit or a repair and that the damage was our fault. When my wife tried to discuss this a further 3 times with customer services she was told she was lying and that they wouldn't even replace the item.
Considering the item arrived faulty and we have requested that someone from Laura Ashley pop round to look at the unit to clearly see its faulty we have been refused and told by rude customer service staff that the matter is now closed.
Unfortunately I am now having to take time out of a busy period to write to customer services (of what help that will be), the store I purchased it from as well as Visa who we used to purchase the product to report Laura Ashley for selling faulty goods as well as Trading Standards as clearly the Consumer Rights Act doesn’t apply to them.
For the amount of money which was spent their is a vast lack of quality with their products which is a shame.

We ordered £3,000-worth of bedroom furniture. Three-month waiting time, ordered in May, delivery date 9th August.
I took the day off work to wait in for the delivery.
We were called by a delivery operative today - the day before the delivery day - at 4:45pm to say furniture isn't being delivered tomorrow, and we needed to call Customer Services.
We called Customer Services. Spent 45 minutes on the phone, most of it on hold. They weren't able to deliver on the due date, or the following day either, because of "team problems". No further explanation was provided.
They weren't actually able to confirm when furniture would be delivered at all??!!
Got the hump and asked for a refund, They weren't able to process a refund over the phone either.
They weren't able to transfer the call to a manager because there were "no managers available to speak to". Customer services is open but there are no managers present? Hmmm.....
Laura Ashley currently have our furniture and our money. We have no idea when we will receive either.
Do not use Laura Ashley - learn from our mistake!

If I couldhave given a zero score I would have. After parting with £3,500 of hard earnt cash for 2 x Gloucester sofas I was horrified when after 3 months the seat pads looked completely knackered! I called customer service, please don't be fooled by this title as none of their operatives are customer focused & offer no service. We had to take a day off of work to have the seat pads inspected, this was after being told that the seat pads require vigorous plumping & need to be removed from their covers on a weekly basis to retain their shape, I was told none of this by the sales person, surprise surprise or would not have purchased. So the report showed that the seat pads were of the correct weight, what this has to do with anything is beyond me. The fibres are squashed together offering no support or comfort. The sofa looks about 10 years old. In fact the one I replaced was from M&S and was over 10 years old looked far far better than this. I will never purchase another item from Laura Ashley, everything about the company stinks! Aviod, avoid avoid. I just wish that I'd read the reviews before purchasing. Just hope that this will make someone else think twice before buying from these sharks.

Spent alot of money with them, bought a sofa bed and sofa and the sofa bed arrived water damaged, no sorry, the sofa bed is faulty and dips in the middle, they sent a rude arrogant technition out called Mike, who lied and said he checked all the sofa when he didn't and he was too lazy to check the frame of the bed. They won't even look into replacing or refunding my money and even with my evidence they are still denying it. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SHOP ELSEWHERE, JOHN LEWIS PROVIDE A EXCELLENT AFTER CARE SERVICE. LAURA ASHLEY IS RUBBISH QUALITY AND RUBBISH SERVICE. ABSLOUTE DISGRACE.
