Simply BRILLIANT! We went with 3 teenage girls, aged 11, 13 and 16. At some points the content was a little close to the white for youngsters, but the performance was outstanding. Brilliant all round, singing, acting, dancing. A very moving story and very relevant...More
Theatre well worth a visit. Couldn't fault any cast member for 'Jamie'. Our whole family enjoyed this so much. Not sure if we would re-visit due to cast change but you never know.
However, the staff are AWFUL. We found them rude, without reason, especially...More
Like other reviews, had heard it was a brilliant show and did not read the synopsis beforehand.
The Apollo is quite intimate and the venue suits the production perfectly.
Minimal scenery- but it works, really an open stage.
The cast - ALL were just on...More
Hadn't heard too much about the musical other than a brief outline of the story. I was not disappointed as the performances and music was fantastic. The story was felt very real, heart felt, modern and relatable. The stand out performances for me was of...More
What a great production. I'd deliberately not read the synopsis as I wanted to find out for myself what all the fuss was about..... I was not at all disappointed.

Clever performance, filled with humour, pathos and deeper messages. Cast are excellent especially Jamie. Very much a show for our times. Tremendous audience reaction created a wonderful atmosphere in the theatre. A young cast with some accomplished vocalists and athletes.
Exceeded my expectations.
F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! I love this musical, having seen it 3 times and wanted to see John McCrae's last matinee performance, which was an AMAZING performance. I went on my own this time, as I didn't want to make my daughter see if for a 3rd time....More
We went in early January with our kids (17 and 21) and all loved it!!
This is one of the best productions I’ve seen in London.
There are laughs, tears and drama with a fantastic cast.
There are not many shows I would see more...More
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the
most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
