I thought it would be unbelievably crowded like it's bigger counterpart Waxy O'Connors but it was just right on a Saturday night. I recommend going upstairs where there's an open fire in the winter and the barman will put your drinks in a dumb waiter...More

Whilst strolling through China town, we decided to pop in Waxy for a drink. Is your typical English pub, divided on 2 floors, there is also a basement for the toilets. They have a good selection of lagers and ales. The decor is what you...More

Its cold, its winter and its dull outside! Welcome to Waxys. Its warm friendly and funny. Pop in for a drink, but for two dont expect much change from £15.00. Bit of a hike to the toilets downstairs.

Not much to say about this place really. It’s a pub. It sells beer. There’s music playing. It possesses a certain amount of faux charm in an attempt to pass itself off as an Irish pub but really the best place to see an Irish...More
