Gerald rocks. We came in late after seeing a show and staying at a posh hotel nearby. Gerald took care of us. The food was excellent. The wine sublime.

This is a very old area in London. An elegant mixing of old buildings and modern new buildings. So much history to see and is not crowded with tourist. A pleasant stroll!

Came here on a work day and the place was quiet. Normally the place would be full of people, but I guess everyone is working from home nowadays. Same to see many shops closed, so it's not as lively as it used to be. There's still fine places to visit close by such as Lincoln's Inn, Sloan Museum, Soho, British Museum, Bloomsbury and Strand are all walking distance.

I love this part of London. Touristy but not in a overwhelming tourist sense. So much history in this area with pubs, gardens, churches.

This is a good location for the theatres and shopping areas and general access to other places in the city. Well served by public transport and places to stay I was particularly keen to see Sicilian Avenue being from that part of the world, it was just a small square with some shops and cafes. I was hoping for more.

These are busy shopping areas you could find anywhere. Not high end shopping - the likes of Zara, H&M etc. and many fast food venues.

After lunch I went for a long walk in the City, in elegant Holborn, crossed over Holborn Viaduct, and continued to the Sir John Soane’s Museum. Passed by many interesting historical buildings along the way, atmospheric old restaurants and pubs, busy stores, beautiful churches... Gorgeous neighborhood and a a great place to stay in London.

I used to work around and haven been here recently. Came here at the weekend, and it's pretty quiet at during the weekends as it's always been. As it's pretty much on the edge of "The City', the offices are closed, so there's less passing traffic. However, it's a great place to stay as the whole Bloomsbury/High Holborn area is pretty affluent.

There's plenty to do around the area, as there's several museums within walking distance and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to use up your time.

Location wise, it's perfect for visitors to London as it's walkable to many London attractions and the central line is get you to pretty much everything else that's not.

I tend to stay in Holborn more than anywhere else in the city. As it's very close to most central attractions. Yet out of the hustle and bustle.
