A good afternoon out. Easy on street free parking on Graeme Park Way, or use the car park and contribute to the running of the museum. Great activities for kids. Simulator is great and worth £6.

Was a lovely place, very well laid out and lots to see. Cafe was excellent. There were a lot of kids when we went and they all seemed interested and happy playing on the toys around for them.

I visited the RAF Museum in Hendon today with my stepsons. It was always one of my favourite museums. My last visit was in 2012 and having seen that the museum had been refurbished and modernised I was really looking forward to visiting again. We...More

Good Afternoon, and thank you for your review. First and foremost we would like to apologise for your experience. The reason why this happened was that the film crew was setting up for a live National Lottery broadcast that was happening the afternoon of your...More

First time we’’ve been since the refurbishment last year- much better entrance and design of the first hangar. The newly refurbished section now is more fun for children, with playmodels of planes and spitfires and rescue helicopters for sitting and posing for photos! There are...More

Visited with my 4 year old nephew and he absolutely loved it. Great place to visit with the family as it's educational yet interactive which makes it fun and interesting. Also, it's free which is a bonus. Would definitely visit again.

The newer building is pretty good, especially for kids, but it’s in the main hangars where this really impresses: the collection of old planes is just amazing and needs to be seen to be believed. And incredibly, it’s free!

This was only my third ever visit to the RAF Museum at Hendon (each visit separated by two decades!). So much has changed, and all for the better. The museum is a lot less cramped than in the old days with masses of space for...More

I am extremely disappointed at what the museum had become, the best parts were the kids planes, but I'm too old for them!, the fact that you can no longer go in the Sunderland is disgusting, i know its probabily health and safety, but how...More

I have to confess when the prospect of visiting this museum was suggested I was expecting a tired, engine oil smell filled day out. What I got was very different. The museum is very easy to get to using public transport following their very clear...More
