What a wonderful surprise! Historical and interesting rooms, statues, art. And then....a hidden roman amphitheatre. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Apparently the queen likes to bring visitors here as it is quieter and easier to close to the public than bigger venues. Easy to...More

We visited on the Open House weekend and were lucky to have someone explaining the heraldry, statues, etc to us. It has a long standing association with London and its Lord Mayor. A very interesting visit.

An interesting stop that offers artwork, roman ruins in the basement level and insight into the guilds that made (and still make) big parts of London run. If you want to see something more than the obligatory London sights, this is it.
