We really enjoyed our time here and the children were enthralled. Lots of passages and small rooms to peer into with videos and relevant historical information. Quite amazing to think of how many people lived and worked down in the war rooms during the war.

It was interesting to see the war rooms & the stories behind everything you get to see. The audio guides were extremely helpful and made all the difference in our experience. It wasn't boring like the others.. but then again, maybe it's just preference. :)...More

Even though we had visited 20 years ago, we enjoyed ourselves again, learning about how Churchill and company functioned underground during WWII. Recently they added on a large section devoted to his entire life, which was interesting as well. The audio guide is excellent and...More

It's been a few years since I visited the War Rooms, but I would really like to go back again soon. If you love History, or even remotely interested in the Second World War then this is well worth a visit.

This was a wonderful tour. We spent much more time than we had anticipated and thourghly enjoyed the visit. We probably should have booked our entry in advance but only had about a half hour wait to enter.

Pretty interesting visit. I found it fascinating for the most part. As a person with low to mild interest in war history, the wait was not worth it for me and I lost interest half way through.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Hmmmm. If you have difficulty with confined spaces this may not be for you. There is not one window as it is entirely underground. Quite a bit of the War Rooms are actual tunnels with exhibits and you can move along at your... More
