Lovely to see the horses standing Sent but dont get too close as one tourist found out when the horse pushed them and neighed.

Went to a Beating Retreat Ceremony and it was just great. All seats appear to be good and frankly I didn't think it was too expensive.

If you get there around 10 am, chances are you will be very close and unless Japanese tourists elbow their way before you, you will see everything from very very close. At 10:30 the guards arrive, yell at each other, some go in the building...More

If in London you should take time to see the Horse Guards with all their pomp and ceremony. Be at the Hyde Park Barracks around ten as they leave around 10.30 and there are usually good crowds.On Sundays it is an hour earlier.
