We have been several times over the years to this marvellous art gallery. It has a beautiful collection superbly displayed in an historic building. As it is not too big you are able to see the entire collection within a reasonable time. A must if...More

The gallery is just to the right as you enter the gates to Somerset House. The main galleries are on the first floor but although the staircase is rather beautiful there is, of course, a lift. The gallery will surprise many due to the fact...More

I just happened upon this museum as I was walking by Somerset House and decided to stop in only 30 minutes before it closed. I was amazed at the number and the quality of the art there, especially the Impressionist paintings. If you like Impressionists,...More

Too late now to visit but a great gallery nonetheless. Smaller than the National but some great pieces and does not have so many stark religious paintings, to fill you with impending doom.

This is an excellent collection, that tours. The National Art Gallery will be greatly improved by the presence of this collection as a Special Exhibit.

I was anxious to revisit the Courtauld Gallery as it will be closing in September for a minimum of 2 years for refurbishment. The Impressionist collection there is well worth a visit alone but there are other art works and sculptures well worth seeing. Looking...More

This is a great little museum which is scheduled to close for renovations on Monday, 3rd September, for a two year period. This little gem has a wonderful collection of medieval art, and a very strong collection of 19th and early 20th Century work. See...More

£8 per adult, less for seniors and children. Check if there are any offers on line etc we were using British Rail to and from London and you can get 2 for 1 on entry but you need to apply in advance and download a voucher.
