Most people miss Britain’s smallest police station and that is definitely their loss - a pity that there isn’t a sign telling people more about its history and past use and also a pity that it’s still not being used regularly nowadays

You will probably walk straight past this on the South East corner of Trafalgar Square. It is a tiny circular stone 'cupboard' with a lamp on top and a door on one side within which a policeman would have stood (some time in the past...More

Sadly, this looks like it has closed down. Went all round it - that didn't take long - but couldn't find a door that was opened - or a 'BOBBY' with the wherewithal to do so. I certainly wouldn't want to be a giant trying...More

I have been in trafalgar square countless times before and never noticed this. It was really cool to see. Apparently the lamp on the top is from a ship from trafalgar.

Located at a corner of Trafalgar Square is a world record holder, Britain's smallest Police Station. Apparently this tiny box can hold two prisoners at a time, although its main purpose was to hold a single police officer. Very peculiar but fascinating.

Tucked away in the corner of Trafalgar Square is this tiny Police Station. UK's smallest. You would not know it is there. Just about enough space and height for one person to stand. How many people walk by and do not realise its there. Peer...More

With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized
lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is
