Try a beer called Old Blue. It's great. The OLD Blue Last is a typical English pub with a great ambience.

I'd arranged a meal nearby with friends and chose to meet here beforehand as it’s easy to find. It’s a lively pub that focuses on drinking and has a good range including “Blue Moon” (a favourite in Summer). The prices were reasonable and the service...More

Liked the Camden beer, and playlist was awesome (being 66) and listening to the Kinks & the Trogs played very loudly, was have to say, one of the highlights of my day. Must have been the eldest customer by 30 years!!.

This is very much a drinkers pub, designed to hold as many standing people as possible with minimal seating round the edge of the one room. It's located on one of the City's busiest road, Great Eastern Street. Plenty of choice for beers, lagers and...More

This bar captures history - you can almost hear the ghost of Shakespeare in the distant echos of the punk music upstairs. Good beer, friendly people, nice vibes.

Love the great green mirror behind the counter. Nice space, friendly staff, but with the inevitable relentless traffic outside.

This is a trendy, old-fashioned pub on the corner with lovely rounded frontage around Great Eastern St and Curtain Road. We liked the decor and seeing the young hipsters frequenting it.

Great for free gigs. The upstairs room they have for gigs is small and fills up quickly but the sound is decent (for a small venue). It gets pretty warm and there isn’t a cloakroom but for free you can’t complain. Even if you have...More

The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is
a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be
it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well
connected transportation links dotting its perimeter,
along with an ever increasing variety of shops,
hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore
this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood.
There's a lingering post-industrial grit about
