Great proper pub that Madness played in when they first started. A tiny 150 capacity but they have had great punk related gigs including Spizz and Sylvain Sylvain. Drinks were £5 a pint.

Dropped in here Saturday lunch time and again that night for a private gig. The whole place oozed history from the madness plaque above the door to the signed photo from Amy Winehouse from when she use to pull pints here. Highly recommended if you...More

I lived in Camden for about 9 months, and would regularly go into the Dublin Castle on a Friday/Saturday. It's a great bar, with reasonably priced drinks and a good atmosphere. The best feature is the live music area at the back. There are always...More

I’d not been here for years but little seemed to have changed. It was busy with small and large groups, eating, drinking, smoking (yes, how refreshing), and just hanging out. Finding table space can be difficult but a table number is needed when ordering food....More

Apparently this was a private gig, but I seemed to wander in with ease and got my wrist band. No idea who was on first, but a sweet little trio doing a few numbers, and it seemed probably their first gig, but she did ok....More

Went there for a rock gig and I really loved this place. It is a nice traditional English boozer with a fairly big room at the back for bands. Drinks are reasonably priced as well so I will definitely look into doing more gigs there.

We love as huge madness fans this is a must place to visit . Great atmosphere and lots of memorabilia on the wall of Madness and also a Juke box to select your songs. We stop off here every time we visit Camden.

This castle gives you lots of information about about what has happened in Dublin and also in the castle but would not recommend taking a bag otherwise you will have to put it in one of their lockers but don’t worry they are free.
