Fantastic range of music at a proper old school, music venue with the character to bring the best out of the artist and audience. This is where Madness got started and on the right night you may just see an emerging star act.
Along with The Hope and Anchor pub in Islington, where a new band in 1980 by the name of U2 played to nine people, so the legend goes, The Dublin Castle on Camden Parkway might have one of the smallest stages, but it is one...More
Dropped in here Saturday lunch time and again that night for a private gig. The whole place oozed history from the madness plaque above the door to the signed photo from Amy Winehouse from when she use to pull pints here.

I lived in Camden for about 9 months, and would regularly go into the Dublin Castle on a Friday/Saturday. It's a great bar, with reasonably priced drinks and a good atmosphere.
The best feature is the live music area at the back. There are always...More
I’d not been here for years but little seemed to have changed. It was busy with small and large groups, eating, drinking, smoking (yes, how refreshing), and just hanging out. Finding table space can be difficult but a table number is needed when ordering food....More

Went there for a rock gig and I really loved this place. It is a nice traditional English boozer with a fairly big room at the back for bands. Drinks are reasonably priced as well so I will definitely look into doing more gigs there.
We love as huge madness fans this is a must place to visit . Great atmosphere and lots of memorabilia on the wall of Madness and also a Juke box to select your songs. We stop off here every time we visit Camden.
Famous for its sprawling cluster of markets and shops as well as for an embrace of all things counter culture, Camden offers a concentrated version of London street life. From bargain shopping and people watching to rubbing elbows in its abundance of pubs and bars, Camden is the place to be for many a Londoner. It is also home to some of the hottest live music venues in Europe. As packed as Camden High
Street and its tributaries can get during the weekends, this neighbourhood is right next to some of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces, namely Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.
