I popped in here after a visit to the maritime museum, was very impressed with the décor, its a very comfortable bar, was served very quickly, the staff very friendly, real ales served and a very good quality, will return here when in Liverpool again.

What was the HSBC is now a spacious bar with reasonably priced drinks. We visited on a Saturday lunch time and it was fairly quiet, catering for those wanting to watch the football.

Great choice of whisky and an expanding collection of gin. Only thing I would gripe about was a lackluster Sunday roast during a previous visit and the Irish barman who kept swearing.
