We wanted to visit historical pubs. This one was outstanding, small but full of character. It's a tad out from central Liverpool, but absolutely stunning. A good selection of real ales available.

"Must see" pub a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. We were warmly welcomed by the very pleasant bar lady. It was mid-day, mid-week, so it was quiet which allowed us to view all the quaint rooms taking in the decor...More

Great place, quirky characters, authentic decor, and great selection of drinks. Bit off the usual track but worth the detour. Recent refurb has enhanced the atmos and upgraded the toilets.

I visited PK’s on a night out at Christmas. As the title of the review says - it is a quirky place full of fascinating ‘things’ that surround the walls and ceilings from an old bicycle to a mummified crocodile! The staff are friendly and...More

I am a proud scourer and love the friendly people of our city. Shame of the PK clientele and staff. Mistakingly sat in ‘private’ party area. We instantly moved only to be sworn at by a vial man. Made to feel completely unwelcome. Embarrassed by...More

If you go to Liverpool you have to go to Peter Kevanagh's. Great pub, great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and locals, great selection of beers. Really well looked after and stayed way longer than we were going to.
