My friend and I visit here infrequently, as we live tens of miles away, but are always attracted back like moths to a flame. Why? Well, the pub is about 120 years old and quite small, but full of character. The ceiling in the main room...More

The pub was traditional in every sense. The decor is charmingly quirky, the beers are expertly kept and add in a welcome only Scousers would give strangers (as if you have known them all your life), this pub is a true gem.

We wanted to visit historical pubs. This one was outstanding, small but full of character. It's a tad out from central Liverpool, but absolutely stunning. A good selection of real ales available.

Great place, quirky characters, authentic decor, and great selection of drinks. Bit off the usual track but worth the detour. Recent refurb has enhanced the atmos and upgraded the toilets.

I visited PK’s on a night out at Christmas. As the title of the review says - it is a quirky place full of fascinating ‘things’ that surround the walls and ceilings from an old bicycle to a mummified crocodile! The staff are friendly and...More
