Fascinating destination but forget about the food in the coffee shop or the restaurant. Terrible quality and service coupled with the hall entrance fee before you buy a meal makes this an unlikely dining venue. Suppose there isn't much point in doing a good job...More

On a sunny day this outing close to Liverpool is definitely worth it. Possible to go there by bus, but once you get off, get ready for a long, long walk to get to Speke Hall, a beautiful Tudor mansion that goes back to Henry...More

Arrived with friends to enjoy lunch at the cafe and was very disappointed it would cost us all £8 to go through the gate to the Cafe. When I have visited before there was no charge.

Speke Hall consistently delivers. The staff at Speke Hall work hard to make sure the house is kept in peak condition and the children love it! There are often workshops or activities happening there and the gardens/grounds are fabulous. I would definitely recommend visiting -...More

The Hall was closed when I visited but I paid to visit the 'gardens', such as they were. Really just a couple of lawns and some woods. Nice enough but it cost me £8.00 for the privilege. I know the National Trust pays for the...More

I've been a National Trust/English Heritage for 20 years. Speke Hall is a wonderfull place to visit with grounds stretching to the outskirts of Liverpool Airport. However the visit was completely spoiled by the over attentive staff who approached you every time you stepped in...More

Speke Hall is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in history/ architecture/ gardens, especially that of the Tudor times. It was interesting talking with the house garden staff and their planting regime and other "appropriate to the Tudor times" gardening information. The formal...More

When we were there it was closed so I can't answer your question. Why don't you give them a ring to find out.
