Stopped here for a visit on one of our regular jaunts to Liverpool. Rocked up to find the hall was closed for renovations, which is a regular feature not particularly well advertised on the website. Still, the grounds were lovely and the cafe on site...More

This was better than we expected. Plenty for little children to take part in the adventure ground around the woods. Cafe was very nice and average prices for NT properties.

Visited for the 1st time on a Saturday morning and it's a lovely little place. A nice walk and little playground. A lovely cafe area with good vegetarian options.

I would say about 3-4 hours the house and grounds, afterwards having lunch or afternoon tea. Its a day out really, weather permitting of course. Even if its cold its still a beautiful place to visit .
