Quite interesting, especially to see a David Hockney painting included within The Collection the day one of his paintings was sold for a stupidly vast sum of money. Adjacent Usher Gallery also well worth a visit, 'Very Interesting' even moreso than The Collection.

Super museum located near the bottom of the Steep Hill in Lincoln. There is limited car parking outside but hard to get to. Many fine artefacts to see displayed in time order. Good place to take the kids with lots of educational activities provided.

Great museum with numerous displays and interesting artefacts. The day we visited a number of children were dressing up and marching as Romans. Well worth a visit.

An excellent, well spaced out display, in chronological order, with some amazing finds. With lots of hands on exhibits and ideal for children.

Fascinating objects from Lincolnshire history arranged for a compelling hour's walk. I learned so, so much, and some old notions dispelled. Particularly appreciated seeing a forensic artist's rendering from an early skull into a 'flesh and blood' likeness. Only downside-- poor lighting made some written...More
