What a wonderful place, hidden very close to the city. Lovely walk with plenty of grounds. The parks are big, there's a fair on at the moment, lovely gardens to walk around and even a pet corner. All for FREE.

I went to the park during a visit to Leicester, it is quite large with a boating lake and miniature railway (steam during my visit). Well worth a visit, recommended.
