We walked around the park and enjoyed the fun little hidden parks and the polar bear play area and whent up mamouth hill to see for miles around such a beautiful place.

Watermead Park is a fantastic area to visit at any time of the year,lovely to wander around the lakes.Plenty of car park space & lots of birds,ducks,geese etc to spot.

took the children on a hunt for the Mammoth and Polar bear, lovely place to walk with or without dogs, have a picnic cheap day out for all the family plenty of room for children to burn off energy

great park with lots of activities from bird watching to picnics and cycling. great way to improve a cycle from suburbs to city, or for a family day out. accessible paths and decent parking all around.

Great place to take a picnic and have fun on a hot summers / winters day. Good parking. Plenty of wildlife for the grandchildren to enjoy ! Would recomend.

It’s true, dogs aren’t allowed in the lakes but dog owners are far too selfish to think that rule applies to THEIR dog. Unleashed dogs are common place. Watermead needs a dog only portion so everyone else can enjoy the park... More
