Free entry with donation point. Lovely blast from the past of things made in Leicester ranging from cars and typewriters to toilets and steam engines. Spent an hour or so here just wandering.

The only beam engines that still work in the UK, so quite unique. The museum itself is well worth visiting, and they also have open days, which are even better

Stumbled upon this next to the NSC. A great wee social history museum as well as pumping station exhibits. Free entry but gates close at 4.30

Great Victorian tribute to technology.. Good interpretation of water and sewerage system from Roman times to the present day. No entrance fee but ask for donations.. The pump room is a beautiful tribute to Victorian technology.
