I bought a three-day ticket for the weekend I was in Blackpool from 7th to 9th September 2018, its the cheapest and best way to travel as it can be used on buses also.

Used to get in and out of town several times. Newbies to this transport method and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Clean inside and fun decorations. Really good affordable travel.

Yes the trams run on a Sunday. The best stop for your hotel is Wilton parade. The trams run from Starr Gate at the very south of Blackpool all the way through to Fleetwood. Hope this helps.
