This is only a small museum, but when you are only paying £9 for a family of 2 adults and up to 4 kids, it's a real bargain. There are lots of interactive bits and children who like dinosaurs will like this place.

Visited here with my Grandchildren early January 2019. The place looks very amateur compared with the other museums in the area. If it wasn't for the fact my eldest Grandson likes dinosaurs, we wouldn't have bothered. I wouldn't visit again and I wouldn't recommend it...More

Ranging from 6 -9 years the children loved it. The price is very good and the exhibits interesting. Interactive for the children. You can also get free child entry on next visit with the stamps they collect on the way round.

When we visited on a Thursday it was closed so we were disappointed a notice outside said it was open on Saturdays and Sunday, later one of the Cities volunteer guides told us it was a private museum so the limited opening hours are understandable,...More

You are right in saying that our public opening days are limited – this is to accommodate school visits during term time. Having said that we are open during school holidays, for example we are open seven-days-a-week during the August summer holiday. Opening dates are...More

Admission prices are £3 for adults, £1.50 for children and senior citizens. Good value, we think!
