What a place. Beautiful building with much to see including the Mappi Mundi, the earliest map of the world. Look out for the VC hero and the SAS window.

We have visited the Cathedral a few times and have been unfortunate to always miss seeing the Mappa Mundi. This time however, we were successful and it has been worth the wait. The display, which includes the Magna Carta and the Chained Library are excellent....More

We visited as there was a memorial on (poppies outside, etc) I think it was March, might have been before. The cathedral was stunning. So beautiful and detailed in itself, and lots of little places to explore. Definitely worth a visit.
