Came here to remember people who are no longer with us and to reflect. Church was built in 1866 and has great architecture. Quiet inside. Located on Alresford Road in Winchester.

I wouldn't recommend this church to anyone. If you have any issues forget even asking. Never have I come across so many judgemental people under one roof. It's really sad as a church is supposed to be welcoming and friendly - not this one!More

Oh dear, it sounds like you had a terrible experience! I've very sorry to hear that. I wonder if you may have our church mixed up with another St Mary's? Ours is a stunning little church open as a visitor attraction and place of quiet...More

Really beautiful and atmospheric church with equally beautiful grounds. In full bloom at the moment and looks gorgeous in the sunshine. Very well looked after.

I was drawn to this church firstly by the village name, Itchen Stoke, which made me chuckle, sounds like something out of a Harry Potter movie. The church itself is quite beautiful. Easily seen from the road. I parked in the road opposite and walked...More

The B3047 is a lovely road that follows the line of the River Itchen passing through wonderfully named Hampshire villages such as Abbots Worthy, Martyr Worthy, Itchen Abbas and Itchen Stoke. It was passing through the last of these that I did a double take...More

Although this is not a church with regular services it is worth a visit. No electricity and a roof with different designs on each side. Redundant churches look after it but do leave a little in the box and take a history leaflet.

Driving past and decided to stop. About as perfect as a small old church can get. Beautiful stained glass and pews. Walk round and see the back of church
