For starters, everyone working here is really kind and understanding. We had some trouble finding the location, and arrived about 10mins late and were both pretty anxious. The staff were very understanding and kind as they were not very busy this day, they sat us down and let us calm down a bit before we began. A lovely individual named Mitch was our host, they were very clear and helpful in explaining the rules and paperwork. They were also quite funny and incredibly kind. Since it was our first time in an escape room, they offered us some advice on getting through successfully, as well as offering hints throughout the hour long experience. Our escape room was the sci-fi/horror one named From Beyond, inspired by stranger things and the thing. In the end, we escaped with just 41 seconds remaining, and our hearts were pounding! Overall it was an incredibly fun and positive experience. I would recommend that anyone considering giving it a shot take the opportunity, as it was certainly unforgettable. I know we will be trying another one in the future for sure.

We had an amazing time here last night! The staff are great fun and they go to so much extra effort than most places. The puzzle box was tricky to begin with but was really great once we got going, apparently they are currently making a new one and we can’t wait to try their potion making experience. The atmosphere and decor was also great, it’s so nice to see a place go to extra effort in Southampton to provide something fun and a bit different. The whole place is really refreshing and different from all the stuffy pretentious cocktail bars that already exist. If you don’t take yourself too seriously and want something different for a night out I would 100% recommend. We will definitely be back!

We have just spent the evening at Elusion escape rooms completing their potions and peril escape room. Our team consisted of myself and my husband and our two sons, aged 15 and 13. We are well acquainted with escape rooms and the boys love for us to do one during the holidays. Elusion escape rooms do not disappoint. As a family this is the third of their rooms we have completed. The room is fantastically set and there are a good mix of puzzles for everyone to get involved in. We also liked that this room is a little different in terms of the puzzles and goals. The magical theme was well suited to this time of year, but would be fun at any time. We escaped with about 6 minutes to spare and were awarded a grade A for the task. Happy teenagers during half term. Thanks to our host Jordan. We have been to other escape rooms with other companies recently and found that they have not been as well maintained as here. Elusion get our vote for best escape rooms! Please create some more, we have nearly run out!

This experience was for our eleven year daughter's birthday. We selected the Peril & Potions escape room and it was brilliant. Great concept, great experience. Would highly recommend this experience and will definitely book one of the adult escape rooms in the future

I took my son and 3 of his friends to do From Beyond (they are all 14). They had an amazing time and Drew their quiz master/helicopter copilot was ace and very entertaining. While they did find it a little scary they all said the fact that Drew was with them all the way kept them grounded and able to focus on escaping. I was worried they wouldn’t make it out but they made it in 57 min. Thank you Drew for keeping them under control! I was very impressed with the whole experience and most of all the boys really enjoyed it.

Went with one mate to do the Potions themed escape room, and we had a great time. I was worried we might not finish, because the room is for 6 people, and there was just two of us, but actually it was really well paced for two people - whilst having a secondary objective (which we abandoned) which would probably make it more interesting for larger groups who choose to pursue it. We had Chloe, and she was great - Really well paced with the hints when we needed them, and had a good energy about it all around. We will be going again, and when we do I hope we have Chloe again.

Our escape room experience was amazing! We'd booked a potions escape room with another company for by daughters 11th birthday and were let down two days before. We were really lucky to book the potions and peril escape room at such short notice. I was so impressed with it! It was completely immersive, decor, props, puzzles were all so well thought out and a lot of fun! Having none of us done an escape room before it was such an experience for all of us! We did pretty badly- total fail actually- and I probably wouldn't go for this as a first one for a group of children with a couple of adults tagging along trying not to interfere as we did, that said we all absolutely loved it and they all got into it. Thanks so much for this amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

We did the options and peril escape room, just 2 of us. We had a great time, the game master was really helpful and friendly, the room itself was really well themed and great fun. Would definitely go again!

We have done loads of escape rooms all along the South coast area, and this was by far one of the best. Subtle hints at crucial points kept the fun moving and we got out with 2.5 seconds left. We did Pandoras Heist which has a large number of puzzles within the excellently themed rooms. The games master was very welcoming and enthusiastic and there was a nice calm briefing to set the scene and we never felt rushed. Definitely worth a visit. Family of 4, children aged 17 and 14. You can park literally outside the door as well.

I took a group of five excited kids (max 6 in the room) for my daughters 10th birthday. She used words like "outstanding", "awesome", and "epic" when describing the visit. The staff were very understanding of their boisterous behaviour, answering all of their (off-topic) questions in good humour. We received a little help here and there where the kids were all racing ahead and tying themselves in knots. We finished and completed the task with a short time remaining. The kids posed for a photo which I received via email a couple of hours after we finished. This is my second visit in the last few months. The first was a locked puzzle box which my daughter loved doing with me so returning for a different game on her birthday was a no-brainer. We love the aesthetic of the place (especially as we are big Harry Potter fans) and it's clear that the staff live and breath for the fantasy that they help to create. This is one of the best escape rooms ive visited but due to the nature of the games, it not something to visit regularly. Thanks for a great day. Daughter was more than pleased, an so am I.
